Bayou Classic makes this stockpot out of commercial grade aluminum that heats contents quickly, is lightweight and incredibly strong. Two heavy-duty riveted handles can be held securely even with protective oven gloves. The aluminum insert basket, is one of the toughest around, and features large 1/2-inch perforated holes and a swing-style wire handle. A ridge around the inside of the pot keeps the insert suspended about 3/8 inch off the bottom of the pot for perfect steaming. Any chef, pro or novice, knows how handy a pot this size can be.
